What is a Doctor of Osteopathy?

Doctors of Osteopathy (DOs) are fully licensed medical physicians and surgeons that can choose to focus on any specialty in medicine – such as obstetrics, psychiatry, surgery, or family practice. Just like MDs, DOs practice the full scope of medicine, but with an emphasis on the inter-relationship of the body's nerves, muscles, bones and organs.

What is Family Practice?

Family Practice focuses on outpatient medicine for all age groups. This includes internal medicine, pediatrics, dermatology, gynecology, minor orthopedics, psychiatry and many other specialties that allow the family practitioner to treat the “whole person.”
